Salima is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at the University of Antwerp, with a focus on critical minerals for the energy transition, and more specifically on bauxite. Her research interests focus on the energy transition and the geopolitics surrounding critical minerals. She joined IPIS as a Research and Communication Intern in October 2026.
