Lilian is a human rights, governance, and development practitioner with more than 7 years of experience working in the East African region. She is also experienced in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, communication for development (C4D), women rights and migration and refugees. Before joining IPIS in September 2022, Lilian worked in Kenya with both local and international organisations such as the Federation of women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA-Kenya). She also worked with BBC Media Action on a DFID and EU funded programme on holding leaders accountable through the use of media. Lilian holds a Masters in Governance and Development from the University of Antwerp, Institute of Development Policy (IOB) and a Bachelors of Laws degree from Moi University in Kenya.
