Alexandre Jaillon

Alexandre Jaillon studied international relations at the Institute of Political Studies in Lille (France). While completing his master in “Conflict analysis and peacebuilding”, Alexandre spent a year in India and Nepal and wrote his master’s dissertation on the Nepalese peace process. At the French permanent mission to the United Nations, Alexandre represented France at formal meetings of the Peacebuilding Commission and took part in UNSC Resolutions negotiations on Peace and Security in Africa. In London, Alexandre worked for a peacebuilding NGO to support the reconciliation process in Côte d’Ivoire. Interested in the potential relationship between peacebuilding and ICTs, he specialised in GIS technologies and participative processes.
In August 2014, Alexandre joined the IPIS team as a Researcher on conflict mapping and natural resources.
