The majority of opposition parties, organised within the Rassemblement umbrella, do not acknowledge and boycotted the aforementioned dialogue and its result. Instead, they opt for a new inclusive dialogue mediated by CENCO (Conf\u00e9rence \u00e9piscopale nationale du Congo). Meanwhile, a delegation of the UN Security Counsil visited the DRC, reiterating their call for a peaceful transition of power.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In <a href=\"#NK\">North Kivu<\/a>, tensions between Nande and Hutu communities were perceived in the south of Lubero territory. On Sunday, November 13, the FARDC regained control over Tshanika in Virunga Park. The area had been occupied by Mai Mai rebels for about six months. In <a href=\"#SK\">South Kivu<\/a>, three people died during an attack on a mineral negotiants\u2019 house in Numbi. Several houses were lit on fire during conflict between Pygmy and Luba communities in <a href=\"#T\">Tanganyika<\/a> on Monday, November 14. Many of the area\u2019s inhabitants have fled due to the violent confrontations. In <a href=\"#KO\">Kasai Oriental<\/a>, a journalist was murdered in his home in Mbuyi Mayi in the night between Monday and Tuesday. Over the past few weeks, several human rights organisations expressed their concerns over the repression of media outlets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Saturday, November 12, Rwandan soldiers reportedly killed a Congolese youngster for illegally crossing the <a href=\"#DRC-Rwanda\">border<\/a> between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. The act incited protest by other youths in Goma who attempted to move into Rwanda, but the police was able to calm the situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"#Burundi\">Burundi<\/a> asked the United Nations for a replacement of mediator Jamal Benomar. Meanwhile in <a href=\"#Uganda\">Uganda<\/a>, the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) fired four police officers over brutal arrests and overall misconduct. In the <a href=\"#CAR\">Central African Republic<\/a>, tensions between several armed groups reportedly engendered overall insecurity in the area around Bria and Paoua.
