The training forms part of the EU-funded project \u2018<em>Improving monitoring, research and dialogue on Business &amp; Human Rights in Tanzania\u2019<\/em> which is implemented by IPIS, the Tanzanian Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance (CHRAGG), and Business and Human Rights Tanzania (BHRT).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180807_120344.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7652 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180807_120344-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180807_120344-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180807_120344-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180807_120344-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/20180807_120344-400x225.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The training aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations on how to research and report on issues related to business and human rights.<\/strong> As such, it forms the start of a longer-term engagement with these organisations that will, in the coming months, each undertake a small research project on a pertinent case study in Tanzania. The results of these researches will be published as contributions to a new \u201c<em>Voices from Tanzania\u201d series<\/em>, edited by IPIS.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>This \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/ipisresearch.be\/\/home\/capacity-building\/voices-from-the-south\/voices-from-tanzania\/\"><em>Voices from Tanzania\u201d <\/em><\/a>series strives to give a wider platform to Tanzanian civil society organisations.<\/strong> Many of them have unique knowledge and access to information on business and human rights challenges, but often struggle to reach a national, let alone international, audience. The first edition in this series is expected by the end of 2018.
