Au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, les progr\u00e8s des syst\u00e8mes d\u2019information g\u00e9ographique (SIG) permettent \u00e0 IPIS d\u2019utiliser les cartes pour une analyse encore plus sophistiqu\u00e9e des conflits et des initiatives de consolidation de la paix.<\/p><p>En recueillant des informations de premi\u00e8re main dans des r\u00e9gions \u00e9loign\u00e9es et touch\u00e9es par les conflits, IPIS a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 une nouvelle approche de la cartographie des conflits pour l\u2019analyse des conflits et la promotion de la paix. Afin de mieux comprendre la dynamique des conflits, IPIS utilise des cartes pour visualiser les acteurs du conflit et leurs zones d\u2019influence, les moteurs du conflit tels que les ressources naturelles ou les territoires cl\u00e9s, les \u00e9v\u00e9nements et la gravit\u00e9 du conflit, ainsi que des informations contextuelles. En tant que telles, les cartes d\u2019IPIS font partie int\u00e9grante de la m\u00e9thodologie de recherche et sont utilis\u00e9es comme source d\u2019analyse cruciale par nos chercheurs et nos
