Research & Communication Intern

Alexeï joined IPIS as a research and communication intern in September 2023. Holding a BA in History and International Relations from Utrecht University, he has recently graduated with an MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from the University of Amsterdam (NIOD). Particularly interested in the intersections between mass violence, resource exploitation and paramilitarism, his regional focus is the Great Lakes. In his free time he enjoys long-distance running, hiking and writing.
