Join us for a conversation on the role of non-judicial remedy in responsible mining, hosted by IPIS and the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) as a side event to the EU Raw Materials Week 2024.
In this participatory roundtable conversation, we will discuss what it could and should mean to offer effective remediation (or reparations) for human rights and environmental harm caused in the mining sector. You will have the opportunity to exchange with a diverse group of stakeholders, such as organized labour, the private sector, civil society, mining-affected communities and policy makers, on key concepts, challenges and learnings linked to grievance handling and remediation in mining.
